What we collect, and what we do with it

We are a website build and care service for United States law firms. We collect the least we need to quote the work, build the website and support it. We do not sell information, and we do not run advertising networks on this site.

1. Information you give us

Inquiry forms. Name, email, phone if you provide it, firm name, current website, practice area and anything you type into the notes field.

Client portal and onboarding. Firm details, practice areas, bar admissions, attorney biographies, logos, photographs and copy you upload for the build, plus the change requests and messages you send us.

Live chat. The messages you send and the name and email you give us so we can reply.

Payments. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and are never sent to or stored by us. We keep the transaction record: amount, date, plan, last four digits and billing email.

2. Information we collect automatically

Standard server logs, and page and event analytics (page views, button clicks, form submissions) when analytics is enabled. Analytics is configured with IP anonymization and is used to understand which pages and offers work, not to build advertising profiles of individuals.

3. Why we use it

To reply to inquiries, quote and deliver the build, run the $99 monthly care plan, take payment, keep a written history of requests and approvals, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and improve the service.

We send service email about your project. We do not add you to a marketing list from a build inquiry without your consent, and every ongoing email we send can be stopped by replying and asking.

4. Who processes it for us

We use a small set of processors: our hosting and application platform, our database and file storage provider, Stripe for payments, and an email delivery provider. They process information only to provide those services to us. If a build requires access to your existing website, domain registrar or Google Business Profile, you grant that access directly and you can revoke it at any time.

5. Confidentiality of client matter information

Do not send us client matter files, privileged material or personally identifying information about your own clients. We do not need it to build a website, and our systems are not set up as a document repository for legal matters. If you send it anyway, we will ask you to remove it and will delete our copy.

6. How long we keep it

Inquiry records: up to 24 months if the inquiry does not become a project. Project, request and approval history: for the life of the engagement plus seven years, because it is the written record of what was approved. Payment records: as long as tax law requires.

7. Your choices

Email us at hello@fastlawfirmwebsites.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or dispute purposes. You can block cookies in your browser; the site works without them, though the portal needs a session cookie to keep you signed in.

8. Security and changes

Access to the portal and staff dashboard is authenticated and row-level restricted, so firms only see their own project. No system is perfect: if a breach affects your information we will tell you promptly and plainly.

If we change this policy we will change the date below and, for material changes, email active clients.
